An original 1965 stuga, carefully renovated

Nordic Stuga 1965 is a traditional Swedish timber cabin tucked into quiet forest near Hindås. We kept its original soul — the wood, the proportions, the silence — and added the comfort you expect today.

Gothenburg and Landvetter Airport are close by, yet you fall asleep in complete quiet. Outside summer, enjoy the tent sauna; in summer, unwind in the outdoor hot tub for a wellness spa experience and spend long evenings under the Swedish sky.

Our story

Hi! We are Vincent and Ana.

A few years ago, we decided to trade our holidays in Spain for exploring Scandinavia. We fell in love with Swedish nature, the calm, the lakes and the simple way of life. In the end, we loved Sweden so much that we have now lived here for more than 7 years.

When we discovered this traditional red stuga from 1965, we knew we had found a place we wanted to preserve and share with others.

Step by step, we are renovating and improving it so that every guest can experience the true atmosphere of Swedish nature — forests, lakes, the sauna or the inflatable hot tub, and undisturbed peace.

Our goal is not just renting out a cabin. We want every guest to take home memories and experiences of the real Scandinavia and to feel at home here.

The bedroom has an IKEA double bed 160 cm wide. In the living room the sofa opens into a 140 cm bed. Both are quality and comfortable, and a cot is ready for the little ones.

We do not offer car rental at the moment. Driving yourself is the surest option — Landvetter Airport is 16 km away and there is free parking for two cars right at the cabin. For shorter trips, 2 bikes are included in your stay.

Check-in is possible from 14:00 to 22:00. If you arrive later, please let us know in advance.

The water at Nordic Stuga 1965 comes from a local water source and is safe to drink. A water supply from our own well is also provided for the cabin. Our aim is to ensure guests have reliable access to water throughout their stay.
