Liseberg Oceana: Gothenburg's new water world opens in 2027

What is Liseberg Oceana

Liseberg Oceana is a new water park being built right at Liseberg – Scandinavia's largest amusement park, in central Gothenburg. Liseberg plans to open in early 2027, aiming to be fully running for the Swedish winter school holidays in February and March.

The park will offer almost 6,000 m² of indoor pools and around 4,000 m² outdoors: water slides, a wave pool, an adventure river and separate zones for young children and adults. Thanks to the indoor part you can swim all year round, in any weather.

Where it is and how far from the cabin

Liseberg is in the Heden area by the Korsvägen stop, close to central Gothenburg. From our cabin in Hindås it is about 40 km, roughly 35 minutes by car. Without a car, take the train from Hindås station to Gothenburg Central and a tram to Korsvägen.

Flying into Göteborg Landvetter airport? It is about 20 minutes by car to us in summer and about 30 minutes in winter – the airport lies between the cabin and the city.

Combine water fun with quiet nature

End your day at Oceana and Liseberg with us at Nordic Stuga 1965 – a traditional Swedish cabin by the forest and lakes. Warm up in the mobile sauna, walk through the forest to the lake, or stream a film over Starlink Wi-Fi.
